Antonio Feltrinelli’ Prize

On 22 June 2012, during the Solemn General Assembly of the Accademia dei Lincei, the President of the Republic, Hon. Giorgio Napolitano, awarded the ‘Antonio Feltrinelli’ Prize for an exceptional feat of high moral and humanitarian value for the GULUNAP project, which founded and developed a Faculty of Medicine in Gulu, North Uganda, to the University Federico II represented by the Rector Prof. Massimo Marrelli and to Prof. Luigi Greco, Director of the Department of Paediatrics of the University of Naples Federico II, who was in charge of the project.
