GULUNAP: No more chalk!

Dr. Sylvester Ndsabjia, a graduate among the pioneers of the GULUNAP project, has become Northern Uganda’s first orthopaedic surgeon at St. Mary’s Hospital in Lacor.
He has already successfully applied 22 exoskeletons (CAST), eliminating heavy and fragile casts, to forearm fractures of Ugandan children. The rigid plastic exoskeleton was 3D printed to a design by bioengineers of the Fondazione Santobono Pausilipon under the guidance of Eng. F. Clemente of the CNR in Rome.
